South Africa has been blessed with a beautiful legacy of plants and animals. To ensure that they remain appreciated for generations to come we have created a unique protection programme. Every year sappi commissions an acclaimed artist to produce an array of indigenous plant, animal or scenic artworks. From these originals we create sets of limited edition signed and numbered prints, known as The sappi Portfolio.

Proceeds raised from the sale of this collection are donated annually to conservation initiatives that also develop opportunities for rural communities. In this way we ensure that art not only imitates life but also protects and enhances it.
